Bloomfield River Mission
Established by Louis George Bauer in 1885 on the traditional lands of the Eastern Kuku Yalanji people on both sides of the Bloomfield River, and transferred to the Lutheran Church two years later, Bloomfield River Mission was renamed Wujal Wujal (‘place of many waterfalls’) in 1980.
