Wulli Wulli

Norman Tindale's Aboriginal Tribes of Australia assigned the Wulli Wulli (alternatively Wulili, Wilili, Wililililee, Willillee, Wuli-wuli) approximately 8,300 square kilometres on the headwaters of the Auburn River and Redbank Creek, northwards as far as Camboon, and on the ranges east of the Dawson River with their eastern borders around Eidsvold.

Their language is regarded as a dialect of Wagawaga, but little is known about the Wulili due to their reputed involvement in the Hornet Bank massacre. Along with the Yiman, who were held responsible for the killings of the Fraser family, the Wulili were wiped out in the wave of reprisals that followed the massacre.
